The Chill NYC site was established in 1998, a year after Chill’s inception in Burlington. Since our kickoff season, Chill NYC has served over 1,000 at-risk and underserved youth across New York City. In 2013, Chill NYC is launching our inaugural Summer Surf Program.

Snow Program:

  • Location: Mountain Creek Resort, NJ
  • Our on-snow program operates on Tuesday and Wednesday nights with participant pick-up sites in Brooklyn and the Bronx. The entire program is provided at no cost to the youth or agencies involved.
  • Information for the Winter 2014 season will be available in the Fall of 2013.

Surf Program:

  • Location: Locals Surf School and Aloha NYC Surf School, Rockaways, NY
  • Dates: Mondays, July 8th-August 12th, 2013
  • Our inaugural Summer Surf Program is a 6-week experience, provided at no cost to our NYC participants and agencies.

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Mentoring & coaching assistance (surf & snowboard)
  • Fundraising and event planning

Jacket Upcycle Program: Drop off your old winter jackets at the BURTON store and receive 20% off.

The jackets will be donated to this year’s CHILL program participants.
