Chill Los Angeles

Los Angeles Local Manager

The Chill LA site was established in 2000, three years after Chill’s inception in Burlington. Since our kickoff season, Chill LA has served over 1,000 underserved youth across Los Angeles. After 13 successful years of running a winter program, Chill LA developed year-round initiatives! Summer 2014 marks the start of our inaugural surf program, and we’re now expanding our opportunities to include skateboarding, too.

Skate Program:

On November 8, Chill had our first-ever LA Girls’ Skate Day at EXPOSURE 2014 down in Encinitas, CA. EXPOSURE is a non-profit women’s skateboarding benefit dedicated to providing female skaters an avenue to succeed, while at the same time raising money for survivors of domestic violence. The all-day event featured Learn-to-Skate and Yoga Clinics, amateur and professional bowl and half pipe competitions, autograph sessions, and an exciting Vendor Village. Our girls had a blast learning how to skate with XS Helmets, Neal Mims Skate Academy, and Girls Riders Organization.
