Today, Chill is celebrating Indigenous People’s Day and honoring the traditional caretakers of the many lands that Chill runs its programs on in North America.
As an organization, we recognize the dispossession and oppression of Indigenous communities, their resiliency, and the need to support the movement for collective liberation and the fight for equity for indigenous communities across the world. We’ve included a map of where Chill’s programs in North America take place, followed by naming and honoring every tribe that calls or once called that land home. In our work, we seek to uplift indigenous cultures and voices in our programming, our storytelling, and in our connection to the land and to each other.
